Hassan, Aug. 15: The 79th Independence Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan. The Chief Guest, retired soldier Sri Vijay Kumar, hoisted the flag. The students beautifully performed a procession and a mass dance. The students dressed up as freedom fighters, which attracted everyone’s attention. The president of the program, Dr. B M Laxmikant, said that the sacrifices and sacrifices of the freedom fighters should be remembered. He said that we should all use indigenous materials, cultivate civic etiquette and discipline, and inculcate life values. He said that the students of RVK School should become ideal students. The Guests of the Program, Sri Vijayakumar, spoke about the life history of the freedom fighters and their sacrifices and said that a sense of patriotism should be instilled in the children. Then the principal of the school said that independence is an inestimable jewel and we should all protect it. He told how the fame, glory and culture of India have spread all over the world. Parade inspection, March Fast, and Mass Drill were held by the students. Group dance was performed. Students spoke about the importance of the day in English and spoke about Sangolli Rayanna in Kannada and spoke about the milestones of India in Hindi and Arvind Ghosh in Sanskrit. Students performed yoga and performed a mime show and sang a group song.

ಹಾಸನ, ಆ. 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ 79ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ರೊತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಸೈನಿಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಥ ಸಂಚಲನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಕವಾಯತ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ವೇಷಭೂಷಣ ತೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಬಿ ಎಂ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಕಾಂತ್ ರವರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಬೇಕು, ನಾಗರಿಕ ಶಿಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಸ್ತನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೀವನ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಢಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆರ್ ವಿ ಕೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆದರ್ಶ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಅನರ್ಘ್ಯ ರತ್ನ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಭಾರತದ ಕೀರ್ತಿ, ಹಿರಿಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಹರಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪರೇಡ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಷನ್, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ಫಾಸ್ಟ್, ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಸ್ ಡ್ರಿಲ್ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಮೂಹ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣನ ಕುರಿತು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಭಾರತದ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಹಿಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅರವಿಂದ್ ಘೋಷ್ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಮಿಮ್ ಶೋ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮೂಹಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
