Hassan, Aug. 12: The birth anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the father of the Indian space programme, was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan.  Students spoke about his life, achievements and contributions that led India towards progress in the field of science.

ಹಾಸನ, ಆ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪಿತಾಮಹರಾದ ಡಾ. ವಿಕ್ರಂ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.  ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಜೀವನ, ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯತ್ತ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
