Hassan, Jun. 5: World Environment Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan with the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution”. In her special address on the Environment Day, Principal Smt. Uma Patil stressed on the importance of sustainable living and the role of young minds in shaping a green future. Students and teachers together planted saplings in the school. Students of class 7 performed a dance.

ಹಾಸನ, ಜೂ. ೫: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ʼಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿʼ ಎಂಬ ಥೀಮ್‌ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಮಾ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು, ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಜೀವನದ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟರು. 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
