Hassan, Jan. 23: Vasant Panchami festival and Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan. The day began with the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, education and art. Samanvay of class 5 spoke about the importance of Vasant Panchami. The students sang Saraswati Vandana and prayed. The students reflected the importance of spring by wearing yellow clothes. Lekhin Praveer of class 7 gave a speech on the life of Subhash Chandra Bose, the importance of Azad Hind Fauj and the slogan “You give me blood, I give you freedom”. He gave a message that the students should adopt the qualities of discipline, leadership, courage and sacrifice of Netaji in their lives.

ಹಾಸನ, ಜ. 23: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಸಂತ ಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನ, ವಿದ್ಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಲೆಯ ಅಧಿದೇವತೆ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ದೇವಿಯ ಪೂಜೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 5 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಸಮನ್ವಯ್ ವಸಂತ ಪಂಚಮಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ವಂದನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಳದಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ವಸಂತ ಋತುವಿನ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದರು. 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಲೇಖನ್ ಪ್ರವೀರ್ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ, ಆಜಾದ್ ಹಿಂದ್ ಫೌಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ “ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ತ ಕೊಡಿ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂಬ ಘೋಷಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನೇತಾಜಿಯ ಶಿಸ್ತು, ನಾಯಕತ್ವ, ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಗದ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು.
