Hassan, Feb. 20: Students of Class 5 of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan was taken on an educational field trip to Hassan Dairy (HAMUL). The visit was organised to impart practical knowledge to the students about milk processing and dairy product manufacturing. The officials warmly welcomed the students and guided them by Civil Engineer Sri Manoj. He gave a clear and informative explanation about the working of the dairy unit. He explained how milk is collected, tested, pasteurized, processed and converted into various dairy products. The students visited various sections of the unit and observed the machinery and processes involved in the following:
• Milk testing and quality control
• Pasteurization process
• Milk packaging
• Manufacturing of milk products like butter, ice cream, milk shakes and sweets
The children actively participated in the learning process by asking questions throughout the visit. As part of the visit, the students were given Nandini Special Bits, Nandini Milk Shakes and Nandini Ice Creams.
ಹಾಸನ, ಫೆ. 20: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದ ಐದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಸನ ಡೈರಿಗೆ (ಹಾಮುಲ್) ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಾಲು ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಡೈರಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಈ ಭೇಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಮನೋಜ್ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಡೈರಿ ಘಟಕದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಪಾಶ್ಚರೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ಡೈರಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಘಟಕದ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯಂತ್ರೋಪಕರಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರು:

• ಪಾಶ್ಚರೀಕರಣ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ
• ಹಾಲಿನ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜಿಂಗ್
• ಬೆಣ್ಣೆ, ಐಸ್ ಕ್ರೀಮ್, ಮಿಲ್ಕ್ ಶೇಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಹಿತಿಂಡಿಗಳಂತಹ ಹಾಲಿನ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ
ಭೇಟಿಯ ಉದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಭೇಟಿಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಂದಿನಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಬಿಟ್ಗಳು, ನಂದಿನಿ ಮಿಲ್ಕ್ ಶೇಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಂದಿನಿ ಐಸ್ ಕ್ರೀಮ್ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
