Hassan, July 7: Students of class 7 of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan paid an educational visit to the College of Agriculture, Karekere, Hassan, to provide practical exposure to agricultural science and create awareness about career opportunities in the field.
• The students viewed an entomology exhibition.
• There, they observed different types of insects, their life cycles, beneficial and harmful species and their role in agriculture.
After the exhibition, Dr Shahana, Assistant Professor, Department of Entomology, addressed the students and conducted an informative session on the importance of pursuing agriculture as a career and highlighted the various opportunities available by pursuing a degree in agricultural science. She encouraged the students to consider agriculture as a promising career path that would contribute to food security, sustainable development and national progress.
• The visit was highly informative and interactive.

ಹಾಸನ, ಜು. 7: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದ 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕವಾಗಿ ಒಡ್ಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹಾಸನದ ಕಾರೆಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೃಷಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಭೇಟಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೀಟಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
• ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಕೀಟಗಳು, ಅವುಗಳ ಜೀವನ ಚಕ್ರಗಳು, ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾನಿಕಾರಕ ಪ್ರಭೇದಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ನಂತರ, ಕೀಟಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಡಾ. ಶಹಾನಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕೃಷಿಯನ್ನು ಒಂದು ವೃತ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಳಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯುಕ್ತ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಆಹಾರ ಭದ್ರತೆ, ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಭರವಸೆಯ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಕೃಷಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
• ಭೇಟಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯುಕ್ತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
