Hassan, July 21: Mangal Pandey Jayanti was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan.

• Students spoke about the significance of the day, highlighting the life, courage and sacrifice of Mangal Pandey in India’s first freedom struggle.
• A documentary on the life and contributions of Mangal Pandey was screened.
