Hassan, Jun. 19: Environment Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan.
• Students from Pre-KG to Class 2 actively participated.
• U.K.G. students explained the importance of Environment Day and stressed the need to protect nature and save the environment for future generations.
• Pradhanacharya addressed the gathering and inspired the students to cultivate eco-friendly habits like planting trees, conserving water, reducing waste and keeping the surrounding environment clean.
Various cultural programs:
• U.K.G. and Class 1 students sang melodious songs conveying the message of environmental protection.
• Students of Classes 1 and 2 participated in a picture description activity and expressed their views on nature conservation.
• L.K.G. students gave an entertaining dance performance.
• Another Geeta program by the students of class 1 and a colourful dance performance by the students of classes 1 and 2.
• Gokulam, students of class 1 and 2 presented a play emphasizing on pollution control, conservation of trees and the need for a clean environment.

ಹಾಸನ, ಜೂ. 19: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
• ಪೂರ್ವ ಕೆ.ಜಿ.ಯಿಂದ 2ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯವರೆಗಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
• ಯು.ಕೆ.ಜಿ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವುದು, ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು, ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿಡುವುದು ಮುಂತಾದ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು:
• ಯು.ಕೆ.ಜಿ. ಮತ್ತು 1ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಾರುವ ಸುಮಧುರ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
• 1ನೇ ಮತ್ತು 2ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರ ವಿವರಣಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
• ಎಲ್.ಕೆ.ಜಿ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮನರಂಜನಾತ್ಮಕ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
1ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಗೀತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ 1ನೇ ಮತ್ತು 2ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವರ್ಣರಂಜಿತ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
• ಗೋಕುಲಂ, 1ನೇ ಹಾಗೂ 2ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ, ಮರಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಪರಿಸರದ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳುವ ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
