Hassan, Feb. 23- Mar. 2: Science Week was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan.
Day 1 – Inaugural Ceremony: The Science Week began with a grand inauguration by the principal. The ceremony included a unique science-based inaugural activity showcasing the scientific properties of turmeric as a natural indicator. Students explained how turmeric changes colour when it reacts with a base. The importance of science in daily life was highlighted.
Day 2 – Scientists of India: Students paid tribute to great Indian scientists such as C. V. Raman, Jagadish Chandra Bose, Nambi Narayanan, Kalpana Chawla, and A. P. J. Abdul Kalam through role plays and speeches. Students learnt about their contributions and were inspired by their achievements.
Day 3 – Why-Why Day (Riddles Day): Students asked interesting science riddles and “why” questions.
Day 4 – Theme-based learning: Various activities and presentations were conducted to deepen the understanding of scientific concepts. Students confidently explained the experiments.
Day 5 – Science at Home: Students demonstrated simple science experiments using household items, explaining the scientific principles behind everyday activities and helping everyone understand that science exists all around us.
Day 6 – Science to Protect: Nature Students gave speeches on how science helps protect nature. An environmental song was performed that spread the message of conservation, cleanliness and sustainability.
Day 7 – Closing Ceremony: The last day included feedback from students on their experiences during the week. A pledge was taken to use science responsibly and protect the environment. The Head of the Science Department gave an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of scientific thinking in shaping the future.

ಹಾಸನ, ಫೆ. 23- ಮಾ. 2: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನ 1 – ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಿಂದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸೂಚಕವಾಗಿ ಅರಿಶಿನದ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಅರಿಶಿನವು ಬೇಸ್‌ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಣ್ಣವನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನ 2 – ಭಾರತದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಿ. ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್, ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್, ನಂಬಿ ನಾರಾಯಣನ್, ಕಲ್ಪನಾ ಚಾವ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಎ. ಪಿ. ಜೆ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಅವರಂತಹ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಪಾತ್ರಾಭಿನಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಷಣಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದರು.
ದಿನ 3 – ಏಕೆ ಏಕೆ ದಿನ (ಒಗಟುಗಳ ದಿನ) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆಸಕ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಒಗಟುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು “ಏಕೆ” ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
ದಿನ 4 – ಥೀಮ್ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕಲಿಕೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆಳಗೊಳಿಸಲು ವಿವಿಧ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ದಿನ 5 – ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೊರಕುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದ ಸರಳ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ, ದೈನಂದಿನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ತತ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಅರಿಯಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ದಿನ 6 – ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹರಡುವ ಪರಿಸರ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನ 7 – ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಕಡೆಯ ದಿನದಂದು, ಇಡೀ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗಾದ ಅನುಭವಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಚಿಂತನೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
