Hassan, Aug. 1: Selected students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan participated in the “Dakshinasya Darshini – Consciousness through Science” organised by Vedanta Bharati at the premises of Sri Math in Japadakatte.
- Ponnasree of class 5 and Sritha of class 7 presented an experiment on the magnetic field and related it to Shloka 4 of Dakshinamurti Ashtaka and explained how the invisible magnetic field symbolises the invisible consciousness that illuminates all beings.
- Hemanth and Skanda Sharma of class 7 demonstrated colours with a light, related it to Shloka 2 and explained how one Supreme Truth manifests as a diverse universe, just as a white light appears as many colours.
- Advait Shastri and Samrat of class 7 demonstrated the principle of light and linked it to verse 4 and explained how a source of light shining through different openings represents a consciousness that expresses itself through all beings.
The students were guided by Smt. Megha from the Science Department and Smt. Aishwarya from the Mathematics Department.
Their demonstrations were highly appreciated by the organisers, experts, teachers, parents and visitors for smoothly integrating science with Vedantic philosophy.
ಹಾಸನ, ಆ. 1: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದ ಆಯ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಜಪದಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಠದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವೇದಾಂತ ಭಾರತಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ʼದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಸ್ಯ ದರ್ಶಿನಿ – ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆʼಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಪೊನ್ನಶ್ರೀ ಮತ್ತು 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಶ್ರಿತ ಕಾಂತೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅಷ್ಟಕದ ಶ್ಲೋಕ 4ಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಕಾಣದ ಕಾಂತೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಅದೃಶ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಂಕೇತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
- 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಕಂದ ಶರ್ಮಾ ಒಂದು ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು, ಅದನ್ನು ಶ್ಲೋಕ 2ಕ್ಕೆ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪರಮ ಸತ್ಯವು ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಂದು ಬಿಳಿ ಬೆಳಕು ಹೇಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
- 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಅದ್ವೈತ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮ್ರಾಟ್ ಒಂದು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ತತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಶ್ಲೋಕ 4ಕ್ಕೆ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ತೆರೆಯುವಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ಒಂದು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಮೂಲವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೇಘಾ ಮತ್ತು ಗಣಿತ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ವೇದಾಂತಿಕ ತತ್ತ್ವಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸರಾಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಸಂಘಟಕರು, ತಜ್ಞರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂದರ್ಶಕರಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವು.
