Hassan, Sept. 3&4: Sri Vijayendra conducted training and awareness on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Acts herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan. He explained the need to take legal steps to ensure that women and children live in a safe environment in the society. The program explained the definition of crimes under various acts, the procedure for filing a complaint, the need to create awareness on “good touch” and “bad touch” for the protection of children. He also presented the importance of training and awareness programs, case management, challenges in law enforcement, statistical analysis, societal attitudes and the impact on victims.

ಹಾಸನ, ಸೆ. 3&4: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಪೋಷ್ (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಕ್ಸೋ (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) ಕಾಯ್ದೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ತರಬೇತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕಲು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾದ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳ ವಿವರಣೆ, ದೂರು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ವಿಧಾನ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ‘ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ’ ಮತ್ತು ‘ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ’ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ, ಪ್ರಕರಣ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು, ಅಂಕಿ ಅಂಶಗಳ ಅವಲೋಕನ, ಸಮಾಜದ ನಿಲುವುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಧಿತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
