Hassan, Jan. 24: Ratha Saptami was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan. Sri Shesha Shetty said that since the Sun is the source of life force, Ratha Saptami is believed to be very auspicious for health, wealth and knowledge. He said that this festival symbolizes the importance given to nature worship in Indian culture. All the students participated enthusiastically in the 108 Surya Namaskar Yajna.

ಹಾಸನ, ಜ. 24: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಥಸಪ್ತಮಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀ ಶೇಷ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು, ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಜೀವಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೂಲವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ರಥಸಪ್ತಮಿ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶುಭಕರವೆಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಆರಾಧನೆಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ 108 ಸೂರ್ಯ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.
