Hassan, Feb. 19: A costume competition based on the theme of ‘Birds’ was held for Pre-KG students herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan. Smt. Manjula Madhusudan and Smt. Nirmala arrived as judges and the judges praised the children for the school and its activities. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Principal Smt. Uma S. Patil addressed the gathering and spoke about the teachings and values of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

ಹಾಸನ, ಫೆ. 19: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೀಕೆಜಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ʼಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳುʼ ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಷಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ ವೇಷಭೂಷಣ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಂಜುಳಾ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಲಾ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಮಾ ಎಸ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪರಮಹಂಸರ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
