Hassan, Feb. 25: Students of class 3 herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan was taken on an educational tour to Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple and Omkareshwar Temple in Mudigere, Hassan district. At Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple, students learned about Lord Narasimha. Bhagavad Gita Shloka was recited. Later, we visited the historical temple of Omkareshwar Temple. The students viewed the ancient structure, stone carvings and traditional temple design. The teacher explained the history and significance of the temple in simple terms so that the students could easily understand.
