Hassan, Sec. 25: Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan.
- Smt. Mamata, a social science teacher, spoke meaningfully about the life and ideals of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and narrated the incidents of his childhood life, his association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, his contact with Guruji of the Sangh, the activities of the later Jan Sangh and his thoughts about the country.
- Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay threw light on the humanism, Ekatma Manava darshan and Antyodaya. She said that he worked continuously with the hope that even the most marginalized people of the society should get the fruits of development. Through his writings and newspapers like Panchajanya, Swadeshi, etc., he tried to create awareness and change in the society. She said that it is the responsibility of all of us to continue the path of his life and service to the country by today’s generation.
ಹಾಸನ, ಸೆ. 25: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಡಿತ್ ದೀನ್ ದಯಾಳ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಸಮಾಜ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಮತಾ ಅವರು ಪಂಡಿತ್ ದೀನ್ ದಯಾಳ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಆದರ್ಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಬಾಲ್ಯಜೀವನದ ಘಟನೆಗಳು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘದೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಒಡನಾಟ, ಸಂಘದ ಗುರೂಜಿಯವರೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ, ನಂತರದ ಜನಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶದ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಅವರ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಪಂಡಿತ್ ದೀನ್ ದಯಾಳ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ, ಏಕಾತ್ಮ ಮಾನವ ದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತ್ಯೋದಯದ ಆಶಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದರು. ಸಮಾಜದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಆಶಯದಿಂದ ಅವರು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಬರಹಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಂಚಜನ್ಯ, ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಜೀವನಾದರ್ಶಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಸೇವೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಇಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯವರು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
